Habits

There is something equal parts satisfying and terrifying about starting something new. Will you succeed? Will you fail? And who is there to witness it?

This blog is a "fresh" start for me. I use the term loosely, because this blog isn't my first blog (is it my fourth??). It isn't even marking the literal start of what I'm trying to do, it's just documenting what I've done and what may come.

You see, this blog is here to document the process of building my future.

There are so many things I want to do for myself, pay off debt, lose weight, get fit, go on adventures, fall in love, build a career. And hopefully this blog will document some of that.

I'm thinking of this blog as a journal, but because I'm a millennial and we love having an audience (right?) let's try this journal in public, shall we?

So follow along as I focus on building a health body. I will be focusing on developing a gym routine, growing my yoga practice, losing 70+ pounds, learning how to eat in a sustainable way, and practice some self-love. This is my main goal right now, and since I've been continually focused on this for more than a month, I thought it was time to put it in words.

There may be some random thoughts about working my way out of financial prison, brought on by massive student loan debt and some serious errors in judgement when it comes to credit cards. But I have a plan and a cash budget system that I hope will help me tackle this, one bill at a time.

This is a boring blog. written by a girl who loves lists. Let's see what happens.
